To commemorate Indonesian Tree Planting Day on November 28, 2023, Kaisae, along with the Forest Cultivation Student Association (HIMABA) of Gajah Mada University, has collaborated on a concrete action: planting trees on Petikusan Ambal Beach, Kebumen, Central Java.

Indonesia's beaches are not only captivating for their natural beauty, but they also play a crucial role in maintaining coastal ecosystems. One beach chosen for environmental conservation efforts is Petikusan Beach, located in Kebumen, Central Java. Here are some reasons to consider planting trees at Petikusan Beach:

• Petikusan Beach Has Good Tourism Potential

Petikusan Beach has excellent tourism potential due to its natural charm. However, its current condition indicates a lack of vegetation or trees to provide sufficient shade for visitors. This lack of protection from the hot sun reduces the comfort of tourists.

• Impact on the Agricultural Sector

Sea breezes that carry salt water have a negative impact on local agricultural crops, so there needs to be a barrier to prevent sea breezes that carry salt water, and this can be applied by planting shrimp and sea pine plants because shrimp and sea pine have a waxy coating.

• Environmental Education and Awareness

Petikusan Beach can be an ideal place to convey the importance of protecting the coastal environment. Tree-planting activities here can provide an opportunity to educate the surrounding community about environmental conservation efforts.
